Trigger Point Injections

Regenerative therapies are not a cure and results vary. Some biologic products discussed here are not FDA approved for this use. Your provider will review options, risks and costs with you.

...It is obvious that they are passionate about what they do and believe in the medicine. It makes me exited and hopeful about what regenerative medicine can do. I have already seen improvements in my pain levels and general mobility....
I was in a car accident that really set off some back problems. Nothing else I tried really seemed to help. The combination of all the different things at this medical office, especially the natural medicine injections from the nurse practitioner, are making a big difference.
...I am also receiving trigger point injections that I find to be really helpful....
Individual results vary.
See all reviews on GoogleIs PRP made from my own blood?
Yes. A small sample of your blood is spun so the red blood cells separate from the platelet-rich plasma. The plasma is the part your provider uses for the injection.
What medicine goes into a trigger point injection?
Typically a small amount of local anesthetic mixed with saline, delivered into the trigger point during your visit. Our nurse practitioner or another medical provider gives it.
Which conditions are trigger point injections used for?
They can be part of care for neck pain, headaches and migraines, whiplash, sciatica and a herniated disc. Your exam looks for tight, tender knots in the muscles around the pain.
How do I know if an injection is right for me?
Your provider reviews your history and the area that hurts. You hear whether an injection fits your findings, and what it involves, before anything is scheduled.
Can injections be combined with my other care?
Yes. Chiropractic care, spinal decompression, rehab and injections all happen in one clinic, and the team shares your plan. Between injections, rehab is supervised by our medical staff or medical assistants, whichever fits the joint, muscle or therapy. Injections can also be one part of our joint rejuvenation protocol, a plan that often runs 2 to 12 visits.
What is the ultrasound in the treatment room for?
The regenerative treatment room has an ultrasound machine that shows a live image of the area being treated. All joint injections at our clinic are guided by it for precise placement.
Are injection prices posted online?
We do not post prices online. Your costs are reviewed at your consultation, before any injection is scheduled. Cherry financing lets you pay over time, with no hard credit check to apply.
Do I need a referral to book?
No. You can book a visit without a referral, online or by phone, and appointments are usually available the same week. New patients can start with a free consultation.
