How we look at pain
A place that hurts, and what it stops you doing.
You may come in with a place that hurts and an activity it gets in the way of: the stairs, a backswing, a long day in the garden. At our pain control clinic for active adults, your first visit includes an exam and often X-rays your provider goes over with you.
Arthritis alone covers more than 100 conditions that affect the joints, and it is one of the most common chronic conditions in the United States.

From the last five years I’ve been in pain from a work injury. The past few years it’s gotten worse where I can’t do many of my favorite outdoor activities. Advanced Pain Solutions has been amazing in finding the source of the pain and getting me on the road to recovery!
I went to Advanced Pain Solutions over two years ago with a pinched nerve in my back. It stopped me from participating in everyday activities, including my favorite one...GOLF!!!...

Call us and describe what you are feeling, where it hurts and how long it has been going on. Our team can tell you whether it is something we treat. A list of what you have already tried helps.
Do I need a diagnosis or a referral before I come in?
No referral is needed, and you can come in with just the pain.
What injections do you offer?
We offer trigger point injections: a small amount of local anesthetic such as lidocaine, mixed with saline and placed into a tight muscle knot, given by our nurse practitioner or another medical provider. Regenerative injections such as PRP are offered after an exam, and every joint injection is guided by ultrasound.
Is surgery part of the care here?
No. Your provider reviews your findings with you, including when a surgical opinion is the right next step.
What other conditions do you treat?
Besides the six starting points, we treat neck pain, whiplash, headaches and migraines, elbow pain, including golfer's and tennis elbow, hip pain, arthritis, foot and ankle pain and neuropathy.
Do you treat sports injuries?
Yes. Sports injuries are cared for through our sports medicine clinic, with focused shockwave therapy and sports injury and guided musculoskeletal rehabilitation. Rehab starts with a functional evaluation to set a baseline, then coached exercises in the clinic and at home.
How many visits does a plan usually take?
It depends on what your exam finds. A spinal decompression plan typically runs 4 to 16 sessions, depending on severity, how long the injury has been there, your age and activity level, and a session usually lasts 30 to 45 minutes. A joint rejuvenation protocol plan often runs 2 to 12 visits.
How soon can I get an appointment?
Appointments are usually available the same week.
